ELECTRICITY

Utility bills are due and payable on the 10th day of each month unless the 10th day falls on any city or postal holiday or weekend. Then the due day will be extended to the next open business day. Failure to make timely payment shall result in a 10% penalty or minimum charge of $5.00. 

WATER/SEWER

If a customer needs water cut-off at meter, the customer must contact City of Hallettsville Utilities at City Hall, 361-798-3681 or Public Works at 361-798-2201.

SERVICE DAYS

Residential service days: Thursday (garbage), Every other Monday (recycling) Click here for the 2024 Recycling Schedule.

Commercial service days: Varies, please call for more information specific to your address. 

There is no service on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.

The transfer station is located at 804 CR 201, Hallettsville, TX 77964

Hours of Operation: Monday, 8 A.M. – 4 P.M., Wednesday & Saturday, 8 A.M. – 12 P.M.
